The Sunbeam Rapier Saloon was introduced in 1958 in a two-tone colour scheme. Two versions were produced – cream with orange side panels and light blue with dark blue side panels. All versions included windows and early models used ridged hubs that were replaced with spun hubs in later versions.
Model #166 was issued between 1958-63.
