The Austin Devon Saloon was introduced in 1950 and subsequently renumbered to 152 in 1954.
Early models were available in many different solid body colours including shades of blue, green, red, beige with companion colour ridged hubs.
Later versions were available in two-tone colours such as yellow/blue, pink/green, etc.
Notice in the pictures below the difference in baseplate print -- Small versus Large.
Model #40d was issued between 1950-54 and Model #152 was issued between 1954-60.
