Several models were made of this taxi as early as 1936. Earlier versions used smooth black hubs versus the later models that used coloured ridged hubs.
The model 36g was available in many different two-tone body colours including many casting variances. Including, closed rear windows, hole in the middle of the propeller shaft on baseplate and small versus large "MADE IN ENGLAND BY MECCANO LTD" inscription.
Model #36g was issued between 1936-50.
